Meet the Winner of The Coolest Cubby Contest

Meet the Winner of The Coolest Cubby Contest

This past July, coinciding with the launch of Cubby, our new special edition robot friend created for Canada Learning Code's TeacherCon, we announced a creative contest. Participants of TeacherCon, who received a Cubby as part of their conference program, were encourage to create a unique cubby and share photos and videos of their creations using the sharing site Creatubbles.

The Creatubbles community and our four judges unanimously voted for TINY THOR, a short film created by Angela Allen-Baker from Paradise, NL. She went above and beyond our wildest expectation. From the costume to the story, the humour, puns, music, text overlay and animation, scene from the coast line and even drone shots of the forest - she packed it all in!

Congratulations, Angela, your effort definitely deserved the 6x Educator Pack. We can't wait to see what your class will come up with!

The winner entry was chosen from the top 5 entries that got the most bubbles. The runner-ups, whose entries are in the picture above, received a $30 giftcard from Indigo as a thank you from us!
